Bridge of Dispair
Be aware that anyone driving from the State of Washington to Portland Oreon needs to know about construction on the I-205 Bridge Southbound. A project to replace the bridge joints is in progress from now until September 24th. Every Friday night at 10 pm to Monday at 5am. Two southbound lanes will be closed durng that time. Friday, July 16, 10 p.m. – Monday, July 19, 5 a.m. the northbound lanes will be closed.
It is also possible some northbound lanes could be closed too on other dates too.

This will affect both I-205 and I-5 because drivers will seek alternate routes and cause traffic jams on both bridges.
